Turning liquids into solids for the plastics industry: The ACCUREL® XP range as a carrier technology offers solutions for liquid additives, which are otherwise difficult to handle.


Compounder

ACCUREL® XP granules are porous carriers for liquid or low melting additives which are thermally sensitive, reactive, polar, hydrophilic, or hydrophobic. ACCUREL® XP granules are made from different polymers like PP, PE, EVA, EMA, PS, PET, PA6, PA12, PC, PLA, ABS, SAN, PMMA, PVOH.

The porous structures in the polymer carriers act like tiny sponges which absorb the additives through capillary forces and keep them inside. Depending on the nature of the additive slightly elevated temperatures, vacuum, and/or wetting agents may accelerate the additive loading process without exposing the additive to an additional heat history.

    ACCUREL® XP 100 is a porous PP carrier for the production of additive masterbatches via absorption of liquid additives at processing temperatures up to 100 °C.

  • ACCUREL® XP 200

    ACCUREL® XP 200 is a porous HDPE carrier for the production of additive concentrates at loading temperatures up to 60°C via physical absorption of the additive.

    ACCUREL® XP 950B is a porous carrier from biodegradable polyester for the production of additive masterbatches via absorption of liquid additives at processing temperatures up to 60 °C.
