Effect on Melt Flow Index (MFI)

The positive influence of OMS additives on the viscosity can be shown by MFI determination as well as by melt flow path evaluation.

Our technical department is equipped with an injection moulding tool to determine the influence on melt flow behavior. For example the addition of 2 % TEGOMER^® H-Si 6440 P to a PBT compound leads to an improvement of 25 % of the melt flow length.
