Liquid color pastes

Liquid colour concentrates are well known in the plastic industry as a reasonably priced alternative to solid masterbatches. Especially low dosing and quick colour changes are very interesting for the producer of plastic articles. But the development of liquid colour concentrates is a very demanding task, as many side effects have to be taking into account.

Evonik offers a brought variety of amphiphilic dispersants to match the needs for all kind of applications and carrier systems. High pigment loadings with a low viscosity are easily to achieve. These amphiphilc dispersants will cover the surface of the well grinded pigments and prevent them from reflockulaion and sedimentation. Moreover, they become compatible to the matrix by polar chains attached to the dispersing additive. Therefore colour matching and the adjustment of tailor made colours are easy to realise.
